Airport Chief Information & Technology Officer

Seeking experienced Chief Information and Technology Officer candidates with strong experience and background in large international airport operating environments.

Track record designing and implementing airport IT strategies, ensuring that all required systems support the airport's operational functions and strategic goals, with focus on service-level and return on investment while maintaining the highest level of security.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing objectives and plans for the seamless and successfully running the airport IT team,
  • Monitoring contract negotiations with airport IT suppliers, service providers and contractors,
  • Tracking technology advancements to find ways of improving and developing the operational IT systems of the airport,
  • Ensuring that the IT system activities are compliant with government regulations and airline requirements
  • Building tailored operational solutions, such as a communication and promotion channels, for the airport,
  • Resolving data-related problems and set up routine maintenance,
  • Interacting with other executives, team members and stakeholders to optimize costs, benefits, service levels and risks of new IT initiatives, and
  • Preparing the budget for IT department with senior management and IT employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of IT and data management experience
  • Profound understanding of data management and processes
  • Expert in strategy development and goal setting
  • Technical and IT competence

Key Criteria:

  • Minimum of five (15) years as airport IT experience, 
  • At least ten (10) years of combined work experience in managerial and technical capacities, with deep understanding of airport IT systems, and 
  • English fluency essential (other languages beneficial).
