Aviation - Business Plan Project Manager

Opportunity Description:

The Business Plan Project Manager, reporting to the Head of Business Planning, will focus on the business plan and technical aspects of aviation project in all regions targeted by the Client for the development of its expanding global aviation infrastructure network. The candidate selected for this role must possess a high degree of motivation to develop new concepts, establish new relationships and solve complex technical problems.

Functions:

  • Identification of candidate locations and potential routes to be part of the Client's global network for selected geographic regions
  • Support to develop long-term business plans for the network of aviation facilities to set out goals, objectives and actions plans that drive day-to-day operation and management of the network facilities.
  • The business plan scope includes traffic, revenues, OPEX and CAPEX
  • Study and analyze the technical and operational variables associated with the project typology which impact the financial model
  • Evaluation of the addressable market for aviation transport services in terms of demographics, actual trips and existing transport network
  • Support the demand modeling and forecasting of aviation transport services, continuously upgrading and enhancing the demand assessment methodology and models
  • Give support to the development, operations and construction teams in technical aspects of development site selection (airspace, demand, layout, capacity, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Experience in the U.S. environment
  • Native or full professional proficiency in English
  • University engineering degree in airport planning or equivalent experience
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in airport planning, demand forecasting and business planning
  • Post-Graduate degree in finance will be highly valued
  • Prior experience in the transport consultancy industry and/or in an airport
  • Availability to travel is essential
