The ideal candidate for this role possesses specific experience and a broad knowledge of offshore helideck design and operation needed to support an aerodrome/helideck operator in the safety management and control of its helideck facilities.
The Helideck expert will be responsible for:
Conducting compliance assurance audits of helideck infrastructure, equipment and resources, documents, manpower competency etc. in accordance with applicable and relevant regulations of the Authority.

The work location is a Gulf State and the length of the assignment will be 3 years, engaged under an independent consultancy contract.
Profile
Relevant University degree or professional qualification in aviation.
A minimum of 5 years working in the field of aviation (Civil Aviation Authority, helicopter operator, aerodrome/helipad operator).
A strong technical expertise in aerodrome/helipad safety, as well as work experience in offshore helideck is required.
Excellent command of both spoken and written English is mandatory.
